Peptara Privacy Policy

Peptara helps users track peptide protocols, doses, injection sites, inventory, and outcome metrics. Peptara is a tracking tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing guidance, injection technique advice, or dose recommendations. Always follow your doctor, qualified clinician, or pharmacy label.

Information You Add

You may enter profile details such as name, age, sex, goals, height, weight, workout habits, protocol schedules, dose logs, injection sites, inventory details, notes, favorites, and outcome metrics. This information is used to show your dashboard, schedule, analytics, reminders, inventory forecasts, and saved settings.

Apple Health

With your permission, Peptara can read selected Apple Health data such as body mass, height, sleep, and workouts, and can write selected body mass updates. You control Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings and the Health app.

Cloud Sync

Peptara supports local-only use. If you turn on Firebase cloud backup, protocol and tracking data is stored in Firebase so it can be backed up and synced. Peptara uses anonymous Firebase authentication unless another sign-in method is added later. Data is protected by Firebase transport and storage controls; Peptara is not claiming separate client-side encryption.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Peptara uses RevenueCat to validate subscription status, restore purchases, unlock Pro features, and understand subscription status. RevenueCat may receive purchase identifiers and app-related subscription status needed to manage access and subscription analytics.

Scanning and Biometrics

When you choose a vial-label image, Peptara uses Apple Vision on device to read label text and prefill fields for your review. If you save the vial, the selected label image can be stored with your vial record and included in Firebase backup when backup is on. Label OCR can be wrong, and you should verify every field against your clinician or pharmacy label. Face ID or device biometrics are used only to unlock Peptara on your device and are handled by iOS.

Pep Assistant

If you use Pep Assistant, your question and limited app context such as goals, compound names, active protocol names, recent side-effect labels, preferred route, reminder window, and appearance preference are sent to Peptara's Firebase backend and then to OpenAI to generate an educational app-use response. Pep Assistant is not a medical advisor and will not recommend compounds, doses, injection placement, diagnosis, or treatment.
